Bully Prevention

Bullying in schools is of continued focus for Florida school districts, and Jefferson is no exception.  To assist parents with bullying prevention we offer the following tips and a reporting form to be completed and submitted to district and school administration.  The reporting form and instructions may be found in the Public Links section of the homepage.  In addition to the Jefferson County School District School Board Policy 7.421,  the URL below is the statutory section on bullying and harassment, numbered Section 1006.147, Florida Statutes also known as the "Jeffrey Johnston Stand Up for All Students Act."

FortifyFL and Tiger Hotline - Suspicious Activity Reporting

FortifyFL is an application that can be downloaded to your smart phone to allow parents and students to anonymously report suspicious activity or threats directly to school officials, local law enforcement and FDLE.  You can download the application at: https://getfortifyfl.com.  In Public Links on the home page you can view a presentation on how FortifyFL works - take a look!

Tiger Hotline allows anonymous texts for reporting of unsafe behaviors such as bullying, self-harm, drugs on campus, planned fights, and any other threat to the school environment.  The number of the person that is reporting is not seen, so the text should included important details.
